  • Financial and due diligence information: Source of funds and wealth documentation, tax identification numbers, investment experience, beneficial ownership details, PEP status.
  • Professional information: Employer, title, qualifications.
  • Communications: Emails, messages, meeting notes, and correspondence related to engagements.
  • Engagement-related documentation: Materials submitted in connection with advisory mandates, investment opportunities, or transactional services.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect device and technical information (IP address, browser type, operating system), usage data (pages visited, time on site, click patterns, referring website), and cookie data (see Section 10 below).

3.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from identity verification providers, public sources (sanctions lists, PEP databases, corporate registries, adverse media screening), and referral partners or existing clients who provide your contact information with your consent.

4. How We Use Your Information

We process personal information for the following purposes:

To provide our Services (contractual necessity): Managing advisory relationships, conducting investment activities, executing client onboarding and due diligence, providing tax structuring, citizenship, and relocation advisory services.

To comply with legal obligations: AML/CTF compliance and sanctions screening, regulatory reporting to applicable authorities, tax reporting obligations, responding to lawful requests from authorities, and record-keeping under financial services regulations.

For legitimate business interests: Improving and securing the Site, fraud prevention, internal analytics, risk management, and enforcing our legal rights.

With your consent: Marketing communications about services and market insights. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting privacy@guixer.com.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it in the following circumstances:

Within the Guixer & Partners group: Between affiliates (including Winsler Family Office) as necessary to provide integrated services.

With service providers: Including identity verification providers, cloud infrastructure providers, professional advisors (legal, tax, audit), and IT/cybersecurity providers. All are contractually required to protect your information.

For regulatory and legal purposes: To regulatory authorities, law enforcement, or government agencies as required by applicable law, or in connection with legal proceedings.

In business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or reorganization, subject to the same privacy protections.

6. International Data Transfers

Your personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than where you reside, including the United States, UAE, Canada, Argentina, Mexico, and The Bahamas.

For transfers from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland to jurisdictions without an adequacy decision, we implement appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or consent-based transfers. Contact privacy@guixer.com for details on specific safeguards.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information as follows:

  • Client records and due diligence documentation: Minimum 5 years after the end of the business relationship (up to 7 years in certain jurisdictions, as required by AML regulations).
  • Transaction and advisory records: Minimum 5 years from completion.
  • Marketing consent records: Duration of consent plus a reasonable compliance period.
  • Website usage data: Up to 26 months from collection.

When retention periods expire, we securely delete or anonymize your information.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

EEA/UK residents (GDPR): Right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

US residents (CCPA/state privacy laws): Right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).

Canadian residents (PIPEDA): Right to access, correct, and request deletion of personal information.

To exercise your rights, contact privacy@guixer.com. We will verify your identity and respond within applicable legal timeframes (generally 30 days). Some rights may be limited where we have overriding legal obligations (e.g., AML record retention).

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls and multi-factor authentication, regular security assessments, and incident response procedures.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Cookies and Similar Technologies

10.1 What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They enable the Site to function, enhance user experience, and provide analytics.
